Mullion Cove
Mullion Cove is a tiny harbour on the Lizard Peninsula in south Cornwall. Completed in 1895, there are only a few houses, as the main town of Mullion is only about 1 mile away. The harbour itself is well protected from regular violent storms here with two imposing quay walls and the offshore island of Mullion Island. Mullion Cove is still in operation today as a small fishing harbour and a good starting point for a walk along the South West Coast Path.
Above the harbour is the magnificent Mullion Cove Hotel, where you should at least have a look inside even if you can’t spend the night there.
