Lydford Gorge is the deepest gorge in south-west England. It is located on the western edge of Dartmoor in the small town of Lydford in the county of Devon. One of the highlights is the White Lady Waterfall, which plunges 27 metres into the depths. There are many other highlights on the approximately 5 km long circular trail through the narrow gorge – from trees growing out of rocks, waterfalls and pools to lushly growing flowers such as bluebells and wild garlic.
