The Trout Inn in Wolvercote (nahe Oxford)
The Trout Inn, near Oxford, is a beautifully renovated pub with classically modern interior design. Located directly on the narrow section of The Thames, it has a large terrace and inside there are also two really chic eating rooms in addition to the pub area.
This pub was actually Inspector Morse’s favourite local pub in the books by Colin Dexter. The ancient narrow road bridge in front of the Trout Inn over the Thames is definitely worth seeing.

The beer garden of the Trout Inn is right on the Thames.
