Porlock Weir
Porlock Weir is the small harbor located on the Bristol Channel, just outside Porlock in northern Exmoor. However, it lies 1.5 miles away from the village itself. Many of the charming cottages here date back to the 17th century, while the harbor itself has existed for over 1,000 years (first mentioned in an Anglo-Saxon chronicle in 1052). It is especially beautiful here, particularly in the warm evening light!
And for anyone who wants to know what it looks like in Porlock Weir right now: the live webcam of the harbour shows it!
