This is not a mirage or a jump back in time: Old sailing ship off the coast of The Roseland Peninsula in the fog
Roseland Peninsula is located in Cornwall, separated from the rest of the county by the wide River Fal. From the town of Falmouth on the opposite bank you have a great view of the Roseland Peninsula.
As is so often the case on islands and peninsulas, you feel like you’re in your own little world – in this case crisscrossed by a main road and many small or even tiny paths. There aren’t really any larger towns, but there are a variety of small and delightful coastal villages.
